Terms of Service

When purchasing tickets on all official channels, the ticket buyer (and any assignee) has agreed to accept and comply with the following terms & conditions:

 Festival opening hours

  • The opening hours of the Festival are as follows (subject to change):
  • 2nd March 2024, 13:00 - 00:00
  • 3rd March 2024, 13:00 - 00:00

All ticket sales are non-refundable and final. Tickets cannot be cancelled or refunded for cash, and no exchanges will be facilitated under any circumstances, except through SUPALAPA’s official resale marketplace. The only exception is if the festival is canceled by the festival organiser, in which case refunds will be subject to the terms and conditions specified by the festival organiser.

Full Cancellation. If none of the days of the scheduled festival are produced and whereby gates never opened for any of such scheduled festival days, or in the event of the invocation a Force Majeure that results in gates never opening for any of the scheduled festival days, Festival Organiser may, at its option and in its sole and absolute discretion, elect to either (A) ISSUE A FULL OR PARTIAL REFUND TO PURCHASER OR (B) RESCHEDULE THE EVENT OR AN APPLICABLE PORTION THEREOF.

Partial Cancellation. If some, but not all, of a previously scheduled festival are not produced,  Festival Organiser shall, subject to the limitations and in event organiser’s sole and absolute discretion, have the right, but not the obligation to elect to either (a) issue purchaser a partial refund commensurate with the cancelled portion of the event, (b) reschedule the cancelled portion of the event for a future date, and/or (c) offer purchaser a comparable make good or benefit (as determined by festival organiser) including an online production featuring talent of a similar stature or similar experience.

  • To access the Festival, ticket holders must redeem their festival wristbands, which will also serve as their festival wallet. Wristbands must be worn securely on the wrist at all times, and individuals without wristbands will be escorted out of the festival. Ticket holders are accountable for their wristbands, and lost wristbands will not be replaced. Additional information about Wristband Collections and the Festival Wallet can be found under Ticketing Info & Wristband Collection on the homepage. 

SUPALAPA Festival RFID Wristband Wallet Terms and Conditions:

RFID Wristband Activation:

  1. Each festival attendee will be provided with an RFID wristband to facilitate cashless transactions.
  2. The RFID wristband must be activated before use, and activation instructions will be provided upon redemption.

Cashless Transactions:

  1. The RFID wristband is the sole method for making purchases within the festival grounds.
  2. Cash and card will only be accepted at top-up stations, they will not be accepted at vendor locations; all transactions must be conducted through the RFID wristband.

Refunds:

  1. Refunds for any remaining balance on the RFID wristband can be requested after the festival ends.
  2. Refunds will be processed, but a transaction fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover administrative costs.

Lost or Stolen Wristbands:

  1. In the event of a lost or stolen RFID wristband, attendees must report it immediately to the festival organizers.
  2. Any unauthorized use of a lost or stolen wristband is the responsibility of the attendee.

Security and Fraud Prevention:

  1. The RFID wristband is non-transferable and must be worn by the registered attendee at all times.
  2. Any attempt to tamper with or counterfeit the RFID wristband will result in immediate removal from the festival grounds and potential legal action.

Responsibility for Unauthorized Transactions:

  1. Attendees are responsible for all transactions made with their RFID wristbands, including unauthorized transactions if the wristband is lost or stolen.

Balance Inquiries:

  1. Attendees can check their RFID wristband balance at designated locations within the festival grounds.

Technical Issues:

The festival organizers are not responsible for any technical issues affecting the RFID wristband system but will make reasonable efforts to resolve such issues promptly.

  1. Modification of Terms:
  2. SUPALAPA Festival reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions as necessary. Attendees will be notified of any changes in advance.

By activating and using the RFID wristband, attendees agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the deactivation of the RFID wristband and removal from the festival grounds.

  • Tickets and wristbands will not be replaced under any circumstances. Additionally, individuals who misplace their ticket or wristband during the festival will be required to exit the event or acquire a new ticket.
  • Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis

  • All Festival Goers will be subject to bag checks and pat downs when entering the festival. 
  • Refer to the full security policy and list of prohibited items on the homepage.

  • You will need to produce the following at the wristband redemption counter in order to redeem your wristband(s):
  • The e-ticket(s) in digital form (Do not provide print form as the ticket QR code changes every 30 seconds)
  • A copy of  your valid photo ID or passport matching the customer name on the ticket(s). This festival is open to patrons 18 years and above only. 
  • The organisers can refuse entry to anyone who does not meet the age requirements.

  • The festival organiser has the right to refuse entry to holders of tickets that are not genuine, purchased or acquired from unauthorized agents, or damaged.

  • The unauthorized resale or utilization of tickets by third parties, in conjunction with alternative offers and promotions, without the prior authorization or written consent of the festival organiser, is strictly prohibited.

  • The right to cancel any tickets that have been resold or utilized by third parties in conjunction with other promotions, without a refund, is reserved by the festival organiser. Additionally, the bearer of such tickets may be denied admission.

  • The festival organiser retains the right to include, remove, or replace artists, and/or modify advertised programs, festival schedules, and audience capacity without prior notice or compensation to ticket holders. The festival organiser may choose to postpone, cancel, interrupt, or halt the festival due to adverse weather conditions, hazardous situations, or any other causes beyond reasonable control.
  • Force Majeure Clause: The term "Force Majeure" encompasses events beyond the control of the festival Organiser, such as, but not limited to, governmental actions, public health crises, acts of God, war, civil unrest, riots, production delays, strikes, natural disasters, severe weather conditions, or the inaccessibility or unavailability of the Venue.

  • Ticket holders are required to adhere to all festival rules, security policies, and instructions provided by authorized personnel of the festival organiser. This includes consenting to any searches. The ticket holder willingly accepts all risks and dangers associated with the festival, whether they occur before, during, or after the festival, including but not limited to death, personal injury, loss, damage, and liability.

  • The festival organiser retains the authority to deny entry or remove from the premises any individual displaying disruptive behavior or violating venue and/or festival terms and conditions.

  • By holding the ticket, the ticket holder gives the festival organiser (and its assignees) permission to use the ticket holder's image, likeness, actions, and statements in any live or recorded audio, video, film, webcast, stream, or other transmission, exhibition, simulcast, or reproduction produced during or related to the festival. This usage may occur in any medium or context for various purposes, including commercial or promotional activities, without requiring additional authorization or any other form of consent.

  • The festival organiser holds exclusive rights to all webcast/Internet coverage of the festival. Any live streams or broadcasts, whether for the Internet or other platforms, must be expressly approved in advance by the festival organiser. No individual is permitted to transmit, broadcast, or communicate any live audio or audiovisual images from the festival site without obtaining prior written permission from the festival organiser. This prohibition applies to performers and sponsors as well; broadcasting, displaying, or communicating any live audio or audiovisual content, whether for personal, commercial, or other purposes, is strictly prohibited without obtaining the festival organiser's prior written consent.

  • Professional photography, video, and/or audio recording of any kind are strictly prohibited during the Festival.

  • Ticket holders are not allowed to bring any professional audio or video recording devices (except for personal cell phones and non-commercial devices) into the festival without the approval of the festival organiser.

  • Ticket holders are permitted to bring personal, non-commercial photography devices into the festival, and they may use such devices to capture short-form video and still photographs. Examples of personal, non-commercial photography and video devices include cell phones, small digital cameras, or film cameras without a detachable lens.
  • The Festival Organisers reserve the right to determine at their discretion what is classified as personal devices.

  • Ticket holders agree to undergo medical treatment that may be considered appropriate in the event of an injury, accident, or illness during the festival. They expressly release the festival organiser and all individuals involved in such medical treatment from any liability for their actions.

  • Any sponsorship, on-site marketing, sampling, vending, coupon/product distribution, or other promotional/advertising activity at the festival (including parking lots) is strictly prohibited without the prior written approval of the festival organiser in each instance.

Supalapa Festival is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. To ensure the well-being of everyone participating in the event, we enforce a strict no-drug policy. Attendees are prohibited from the possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances within the festival premises.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Zero Tolerance: Supalapa Festival has a zero-tolerance policy for drug use. Any attendee found in possession of illegal substances or exhibiting signs of drug use will be subject to immediate removal from the festival grounds.
  2. Search and Confiscation: All attendees may be subject to search upon entry to the festival. If illegal substances are discovered, they will be confiscated, and appropriate action will be taken.
  3. Law Enforcement Involvement: Supalapa Festival cooperates fully with law enforcement. Any individual caught engaging in illegal drug activities may be turned over to the authorities for further legal action.
  4. Medical Assistance: If an attendee is observed experiencing a medical emergency due to drug use, medical assistance will be summoned immediately. However, this does not absolve the individual from potential legal consequences.
  5. Ticket Revocation: Violation of the festival's no-drug policy may result in the revocation of the offender's festival ticket without refund.

By purchasing a ticket and attending Supalapa Festival, attendees agree to comply with this no-drug policy and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in removal from the event and potential legal consequences. The festival organizers reserve the right to update or modify this policy as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

  • All intellectual property rights, including copyrights and trademark rights, to all texts, images, sounds, software and other materials on this website are owned by Prodigy 1 Nation Sdn Bhd, its affiliated companies or are included with permission of the relevant owner.
  • It is prohibited, without the prior written consent of Prodigy 1 Nation Sdn Bhd, to store, reproduce, modify, disclose, distribute or transmit, sell or transfer the information provided on and through this website (other than necessary to view the website), or grant any rights thereto to third parties.
  • If you breach the intellectual rights, other rights of Prodigy 1 Nation Sdn Bhd or third parties, you shall indemnify and hold Prodigy 1 Nation Sdn Bhd or third parties harmless against any claims or actions resulting from a breach of those rights.
